Enlarging COUNTERBORE Pilot ISX15/QSX15 SOHC Casting

The Counter Bore Pilot (PN: 416-6117-62) is a component of the Cummins SOHC Injector Seat Casting Repair Kit (PN: 450-6117-60). It is used with the enlarging counter bore (434-6513-20) to cut out the injector area of the casting. It is also used with the end facing counter bore (416-6156-61) to face off the outer end of the replacement plug.

The Counter Bore Pilot (PN: 416-6117-62) is a component of the Cummins SOHC Injector Seat Casting Repair Kit (PN: 450-6117-60). This pilot is used in conjunction with counter bores to prepare the injector hole and finish the replacement plug.

Key Uses:

• Enlarging the Injector Hole: With the pilot (416-6117-62) in the enlarging counter bore (434-6513-20), from the face side of the cylinder head, the pilot guides the counter bore into the injector hole to cut out the injector area of the casting.
• Facing off the Outer End of the Plug: With the pilot (416-6157-62) and the end facing counter bore (416-6156-61), the outer end of the replacement plug is faced off.
