ISX15 SOHC TAPER LENGTH DRILL

The Taper Length Drill (PN: 414-6157-26) is a component of the Cummins SOHC Injector Seat Casting Repair Kit (PN: 450-6117-60). It is used along with the drill bushing (414-6157-19) to drill through the replacement plug after it has been threaded into the casting and torqued.

When to Use:

• After the “J” tapered plug is threaded into the casting and torqued to 200 ft-lbs, the casting is turned over.
• Coming in from the spring side of the casting, the taper length drill (414-6157-26) and drill bushing (414-6157-19) are used to drill the plug all the way through.
