The Stop Collar is a crucial component within the spindle assembly of the Kwik-Way SVS II Deluxe Valve Refacer. Used in pairs with the separately sold T-Bolt Thumbscrew Assembly (060-1125-00), these cylindrical collars limit lateral travel of the grinding motor slide assembly, effectively locking grinding stones for stem grinding and preventing excessive leftward movement of the main grinding wheel.

The Stop Collar plays a vital role in the spindle assembly of the Kwik-Way SVS II Deluxe Valve Refacer, ensuring precise control over the grinding process. Two of these cylindrical collars are required for the base assembly. When used in conjunction with the “060-1125-00 T-Bolt Thumbscrew Assembly” (sold separately), the Stop Collar functions to prevent or limit the lateral travel of the grinding motor slide assembly. This locking mechanism is essential for securely positioning the grinding stones during stem grinding operations. Additionally, these Stop Collars can be strategically employed to prevent the main grinding wheel from traveling too far to the left, enhancing operational accuracy and preventing potential issues.
