The Rocker Arm Attachment Assembly is a standard accessory included with the Kwik-Way SVS II Deluxe Valve Refacer. This attachment provides the functionality to quickly and accurately reface the shoes of most shaft-mounted rocker arms, expanding the versatility of the valve refacer to include Rocker Arm & Surface Grinding operations.

During the rocker arm grinding procedure using this attachment, the rocker arm is securely mounted between two cones. The attachment is then positioned on the machine so that the rocker arm shoe makes contact with the grinding wheel. The operator carefully refaces the shoe by slowly rotating it back and forth across the grinding wheel while applying consistent, light pressure, ensuring continuous contact between the shoe and the wheel. It is crucial to avoid stopping the rocker arm’s movement while the shoe is in contact with the grinding wheel, as this can result in the creation of an undesirable flat spot on the shoe’s surface.
