Lapping the Single Pass Tool

1. Place the tool holder in the large lapping fixture. Set the swivel feature to position 1. Lap carbide until face is smooth.

• Note: Use only Kwik-Way lapping oil, part number 000-2109-00, ½ pint or 000-2109-19, 1 pt. *

1. Rotate the swivel feature to position 3R. Lap that face until it is in good condition.

2. Shift the swivel feature to position 2. Lap that face until desired width is obtained.

3. Insert tool holder in small lapping fixture marked 4R. Lap that face until all material buildup has been removed.
