This 1-3/16”-12 Tap is designed for threading the upper end of old injector sleeves to facilitate their removal. It is applicable for stainless steel sleeves in Cummins M-11 engines and copper sleeves in Caterpillar 3114, 3116, and 3126 (2-valve) engines. Different guide bushings are required depending on the engine application. This tap is included in complete tooling kits for both engine types.

This specialized 1-3/16”-12 Tap is an essential tool for the removal of old injector sleeves from various diesel engines. Its primary function is to cut threads into the upper end of the worn sleeve, providing a secure point of attachment for a removal tool (not included). This tap has a dual application, designed for use with both:

• Stainless steel injector sleeves in Cummins M-11 engines.
• Copper injector sleeves in Caterpillar 3114, 3116, and 3126 (2-valve) engines.
