Mechanical depth micrometers are used to measure the depth of holes, slots, shoulders, and other projections. They’re operated with a high-precision ratchet thimble. Measurements are read on a Vernier scale. Interchangeable measuring rods with different depth ranges can be used with these micrometers.

This Micrometer comes with 4 rods varying in length to extend the reach of the tool and a convenient and protective case.
