Operating Instructions:

1. Select the appropriate sized collet for the dowel pin you need to remove and mount it onto the slide rod. Use the tightening sleeve to secure it.
2. Place the collet grip over the dowel pin.
3. Use a downward motion with the sliding weight of the slide hammer to lock the collet grip firmly onto the dowel pin.
4. Use an upward motion with the sliding weight to pull the dowel pin out of its location.
5. To release the removed dowel pin from the collet, place the complete assembly on the removal stand and strike the head end of the slide hammer rod with a hammer.
