The Clutch, also known as the “Drive Clutch,” is a vital component within the optional Auto-Grind system available for Van Norman FG5000 and FG10000 Flywheel Grinders. This electrically activated clutch pulley is mounted on the small Auto-Grind gear motor shaft and plays a critical role in enabling the automated feed capabilities of the Auto-Grind feature. The Auto-Grind system significantly enhances the flywheel grinding process by automating the downward feed of the grinding head, offering numerous benefits to the operator.
