2. Workpiece Placement: Next, set the flywheel or heavy-duty brake rotor on top of that flange adapter. In most brake rotor mounts no flange adapter is needed.
3. Guiding Mechanism: Insert this centering cone into the workpiece’s center bore. Its carefully angled outer surface allows you to easily nudge or pull the workpiece into proper alignment on the table.
4. Secure Fastening: Once centered, a hold-down bolt passes through the cone and threads into the table, tightening down to firmly secure the workpiece for grinding.
